Kent received his Bachelor of Science in Business from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the BYU Management Society.
After 13 years of corporate financial and managerial experience, Kent entered the financial services industry in 1984 as a Registered Representative with Wall Street firm E.F. Hutton. From 1989 to 1997, he was employed with Zion's Investment Securities Inc. as a Senior Personal Investment Officer, Regional Manager and Vice President. He began his own financial consulting and investment firm in 1997 and has built a clientele comprised mainly of individuals and small business owners. In his practice, he works closely with each client to simplify their complex financial lives and meet specific objectives. Kent incorporates his knowledge and experience in helping clients more effectively work toward their financial goals and objectives.
Kent is active in his community and Church and is often asked to be a guest speaker to business and civic groups. He is a past president of The St George Exchange Club and the Provo, Utah Rotary Club. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of The Virgin River Land Preservation Association.
